Below you will find downloadable labels for nearly every room in your house. Here’s how to use them effectively:

1. Print Your Labels Early – About a week before moving (while your color printer is still available), print out the Moving Day Labels for each room in your new home.

   • Use AVERY Labels 8163 or 5163 (2” x 4” Shipping Labels) for best results.

2. Print Enough Labels –

   • For larger rooms, like the Kitchen or Library, print two or three pages of labels.

   • For smaller rooms, like the Hall Bathroom, one page may be enough.

3. Label Every Box – Be generous with your labels! Clearly mark each box with the appropriate label so movers know exactly where to place it.

4. Label the Door Frames – The key to an efficient move is to place a corresponding label on the door frame of each room in your new home. This way, movers can quickly match boxes to the correct rooms using color coding.
